Conformation is the third sacrament and serves to "confirm" a baptized person in their faith. It usually occurs at age 12 for children or as a part of RICA and Baptism for an adult convert. It involves the anointing with holy oil and the laying on of hands by a Bishop, sealing the person with the gifts of the Holy Spirit and empowering them to live as a witness of Christ. It strengthens ones bond with the church and her mission. See attached form for the church record.
